I think that is quite accurate. What has happened is that some of the stars have died and become black holes or poisoned dwarfs (whatever they become) so naturally, they have disappeared from the medallion.

"UNUSED" as a wrist watch, but well beaten around as a hockey puck.

I bet that caseback is so thin now you could see daylight through it.

No Best Offer option. :( I really wanted to put in my usual $1 bid.

Got a one word response from one seller I sent that $1 off to. He replied "Cute" and rejected it. Guess the days you could get a worn though gold filled Omega bumper for under $1400 are over according to him. :p

A movement that doesn't belong with the dial, incorrect bezel, questionable sweep hand and a service caseback that obscures the origins of the watch. Who wants a put together for more than double the price of an original and correct 145.012 ?

Looks like you get a couple of leather bags with it though.

I'm beginning to think that Norm must live on eBay . . .

Fortunately most of these doggy dials/unrealistically priced items don't seem to ship to the UK. But rather bizarrely some US sellers will ship to many other parts of the world including Ireland which has a land border with the UK. Must be a 'special relationship' thing.

But if you look at the 9 sold they were all sold for £3.50. What happens is that the seller runs out of the item, but rather that ending the listing they just jack the price up to something stupid and then put it back down when the items are back in stock. eBay ain't what it used to be, that's for sure.
