I've got a Kontiki bracelet with GK end-pieces in the junk drawer. I'd better put it in the safe.

Good way for keeping your fingerprints away from law enforcement also.

I can't believe it is a couple of weeks since a watch last appeared in this thread.

This one is not hugely expensive but it is grossly overpriced and you have to love the way that they attempt to benchmark its value against a new watch from an AD

This one first got a mention in this thread march 4th. I spent some time trying to explain to that poor deluded soul that what she had was a £400 watch at best. She was not shifting in her viewpoint. I think she implied she paid nearly £1500 for it, which I think is the root of the problem.

Tried to make a best offer on what I think it is worth, EUR100, and lo and behold it was declined?

Not sure if this 351 has been on already but...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/STUNNING-...es_Watches_MensWatches_GL&hash=item27e4009311Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

"My asking price is below the value for a watch of this condition and rarity, particularly with the continual rise in value of vintage watches of this high quality. "
Great to know that it's an "The original, slightly off-white, Omega signed dial has been professionally refinished to the highest possible standards and is classically late art-deco." but all the same is "The original Omega signed slightly off-white dial is just stunning."

Absolutely typical from this seller. All his dials are refinished, and his cases "provenance polished", just to reassure you. And for this you pay at least double their true value. The scary bit is, he sells his stock . . .

I actually like this one a lot but the price is totally unrealistic to me. Is the dial refinished?

Yep, I think that's what "professionally refinished to the highest possible" means. You're not the only one who's confused, because he also says it's "original." It's a bit like a prostitute who also happens to a virgin.
