Does anyone have a crown that winds backward by itself after a single wind.

Thank you

A LOT? How much? About 15° to 20° Is acceptable. Stem wind watches have what is referred to as a “recoil click” on the ratchet wheel. This click retains the power you wind into the spring. But (I’m going to say) all manual winders are fitted with a recoil click. This feature reduces or eliminates banking of the escapement for a period of time after the watch if fully wound. Enjoy your watch.

Super stiff crown gasket can also cause this. Which considering it was just replaced next service presumably…

Any ideas?

As the owner of the watch, your judgement of what is “okay” takes precedence over the judgement of the people who serviced it? None so deaf as those who refuse to hear! Take it up with Omega. They designed that feature into the watch on purpose, whether you think it is “okay”, or not!

Check out this thread on the very same topic.
