Winding question.

So I haven’t worn my SMP 300 for about a week or so. It was stopped for a few days. I just hand wound it and the threads and winding are noticeably rough. I could barely feel it winding before. Now it feels Grindy.. should I send it in?.... or is this something that happens when it’s not wound for a while?

How old is the watch, when was the last service.

Winding from a dead watch will feel rougher than winding a half wound watch. In my experience....

it was purchased in 2017 if I remember correctly. It hasn’t been serviced yet.

Best place to ask your question would be at the Omega Boutique, or the watchmaker at an AD.

I plan on doing that when I can get there. I’m kinda worried the crown is bent or something. Bc the threads aren’t very smooth either. However only when screwing the crown down. Not unscrewing it. I haven’t hand wound it in months. It’s a daily wearer so it doesn’t stop very often.
