I wouldn't mind if the white dial Speedster is 39mm. I prefer the smaller size. That price (if real) is a big turnoff though. At least the Snoopy has the rocket in the back.

I guess we just have to wait until it comes out. All this speculation is keeping things interesting though.

Think a smaller Speedy is on the cards & also a white dial Speedy.

The white dial Speedy on DC wrist definitely looked like a pro case (42mm). Unless the smaller Speedy is a like for like model just smaller.

Hi peeps, new here! Called today, they seemed to be under the impression that it would be 39mm Moonwatch ~14.5k, somewhere around March. Had no clue whether would be limited edition. Not sure whether true of course, but thought I would share nonetheless. Exciting!

Your dealer is getting moonwatch releases mixed up. About a month ago, my gf was at the boutique looking at the new 42mm gold + brown + diamond moonwatch when they told her Omega might be releasing smaller 39mm PM moonwatches aimed at women soonish. 14.5k sounds bout right for something that might be two-toned and/or diamond studded.

I rang my local OB up yesterday, defo a white face 42 mm Speedy, he’s almost sure it won’t be a limited edition and will be available as standard like a black face one so two speedys for normal purchase but different colour faces

I recollect that thread, his story about an astronaut dial is very questionable. Working in Automotive there's no way outside people would get that kind of access to any upcoming models, so I'm sure Omega and/or its suppliers are alike.

Questionable? I prefer absolute bunk

I choose my words carefully nowadays after a recent encounter with a member who responded with a few choice words when I posted the popcorn emoij in hs thread.📖

Ah yes, nothing like a popcorn emoji to incite people to rage and violence.

I've said it before, I'll say it again, many (most?) of those that want to throw their money at Omega now for a white dialled Speedmaster will NOT follow through with a sale when offered the opportunity to buy one. If March 5 is the launch date that is only 13 days away, let's see what the day brings.

Realistically, I know I won't be buying any watches for awhile. As much as I would like to buy one, white dialed Speedmaster is not in my future.

I'm interested, but ultimately it will depend on the details (stainless steel versus precious metal, whether a "premium" is attached to the price and if so how much, whether it is actually obtainable, etc.).

And the biggest element is the dial.....is it bright white (Snoopy 45th/Alaska Project), silvery opaline (Apollo 11 35th/Misukoshi), ecru/beige (Italian Albino), or some other 'whitish' color/texture. In the Craig pic it looks very white and very stark which is the least attractive white shade in my eyes. It's all fun.

Good point on the dial color, but I will be happy with a bright white like my Seamaster Diver 300m. Basically, if my Moonwatch and Seamaster have a baby and it's the DC white Speedy, I'll be pretty happy. 😁
