·It's definitely a 3861-derivative, given that the chronograph bridge has the curved 'Master Co-Axial' script on it. Might have Spirate based on the pictures, but it's hard to tell.

·Well the backside ( or Far side ) of the Moon remained unknown until October 1959 when it was photographed by the camera mounted to the unmanned Soviet-Russian Luna 3 robotic spacecraft. That's a 65th anniversary.
I should know as a collector of lunar globes, remember it wasn't until 1961 that the Russians produced a lunar globe with important lunar features on the far side of the Moon. ( always invisible from the Earth ). In 1967 the far side was included in a Russian Lunar Atlas !

Apollo 10 crew described the Moon as being Black-Brown-Tan-White... as they descended to 11 kilometers above the lunar surface...

·I was reading today about the japanese lunar rover and apparently the moon has poles with ice inside. So I suppose that would be white and moon related
