Will this Bezel insert fit this Speedmaster?

I am interested in purchasing the Speedmaster reference 311.30.42.30.13.001, though I would really love to make a slight modification to it to make it a perfect forever watch for myself, which is to switch out the bezel insert for a steel one.

From my research the following links are the only websites I found where you can purchase a steel bezel from a 90s broad arrow model. Since these two models are years apart, i assume Omega made changes to the case to make replacing these two bezels impossible. But I wanted to check if someone more knowledgeable than me on here can give their 2 cents?

Pretty sure they're the "same" all the way through until the ref. 1861 and 1863 watches concluded production, so it should fit as long as the diameter is the same. I believe there's an aftermarket bezel available for about half the cost of genuine, too.

Thanks for the info! Do you know where I can find the aftermarket bezels? the genuine ones are so pricy and these websites don't seem the most legit anyway. Also, is there anyway you can help me confirm that it will definitely fit? because if not, there is another Speedmaster I'd probably prefer.
