It's not like you can just walk in and buy one. OB's are still playing the game with the Snoopy to a certain extent so they can play the exclusivity card when they need to.
Purchase history helped me for sure, and the fact that I was willing to drive 400 miles round trip to get them. Plus they knew I was serious and not a flipper.

I would not be mad if they discontinued the Snoopy. Sure, they are selling each one they make, but it’s no longer driving sales of other pieces like it used to - judging by grey market prices being just above retail.

I love mine, although I struggle to understand why the 30 minute subdial lacks the extended markers at 5, 15, and 25, line every other Moonwatch I’ve seen.

However, I’m a bit miffed at Omega for their allocation strategy, and how impossible it was to get at retail in my market yet so many stories of walk ins or low spend history in smaller markets. Much less how often a brand new one pops up on the grey market. The brand pretends like it’s an exclusive piece for serious fans of the brand yet it doesn’t feel that way in the community anymore.

I purchased mine brand new grey, for small premium which is great. But it was after building a relationship with my boutique for years, eventually being promised I would get an allocation from them, then several months later having them walk it back. The lesson I learned is don’t partake in the relationship building game with Omega Boutiques

PS here’s a pic as payment for allowing me to complain

Hope you get that call soon! With the way retail price increases have gone, it’s not a bad deal going grey 😉

I'd agree with this. Grey market does seem more compelling now compared to a few years ago...

I wouldn't mind going grey, but I do not see the prices u guys see...the minimum I see is 40% over MSRP ($11,900).....my AD offered me a PO from 2020 & they were asking >50%.....I politely declined and said I'll be patient...

Got mine for msrp in 2025 before the price increase (barely). Then spent another thousand on a speedmaster 57 flatlink for it.

The Snoopy 50th was the only watch I went grey (sort of), it is priced around $13.5 k in the middle east I got mine for $14.8k new, I just did not want to play games buying 2 watches to get one although, I had a profile for buying previous Omega last was in 2021 (Diver 300).

Anyhow I think it is a great collector piece to have and I am not interested in any new Omegas for time being.
