Yes, really as unlikely as that sounds.
After 2 days visiting various shops and boutiques in London she ended up with one of these.
This wasn’t her first choice when viewing online but theres no substitute for the real thing and after trying on the others this came out tops.

That’s not a wrist shot and why are you posting rather than your wife? Time for her to sign up for her own account so she can shit all over your collection publicly. 😉

Bought the same AT in the same color for my wife. She loves it!
I hope Omega will release the same watch in the same (or similar) color in 41mm so I can buy it too.
The 38mm ATs are just to small!
No idea why Omega released the new ATs last year only in 38mm for men.
A 41mm size would be great!

41mm would be much better!
Because 36-38mm is the perfect size for this form factor unless you arms like tree trunks- I wouldn’t wear one of these above 38mm. 41mm is the top end for tool bezeled watches before they get ridiculous.

Rarely have I read such a stupid comment.
If it were really like that, Omega would have to take 70% of its watches out of the collection, because nobody would buy them if they looked ridiculous.
I'm glad that the watch manufacturers don't follow your statement regarding the watch size to be produced.
By the way, the sizes you mentioned were still considered too large about half a century ago. Back then, people wore much smaller watches.
What do we learn from this?
Watch sizes are trends. They change over time.
There is no right and wrong when it comes to watch sizes. Everyone should wear the size they like.

There is a reason Rolex didn’t lean into the 41mm for too long, brought out the 39mm and kept the 36 in their heritage lines.
As you said, trends….perhaps omega is on to something not bloating this watch line.

What a way to express your difference in opinion @Ofan! I hope you are just having a bad day and don't act like this all the time. Hats off to @JwRosenthal for keeping his cool.

The Datejust and the Oyster Perpetual, which are comparable to the AT, are both available in 41mm. Apart from the Explorer (1), I don't know of any Rolex model from the current collection that is not available in 41mm or larger.
The fact that Omega or Rolex offer smaller watches than 41 mm is okay with me. My only concern was that there should also be a 41 mm model. For people like me who prefer this size and don't want to wear anything smaller than 40 mm.
Hence my question as to why Omega does not offer a 41 mm model of the AT.
And I didn't want to start a debate here about which watch size is the right one for men. Because such a discussion leads nowhere.

I’ve been called worse- one of our mods affectionately calls me a dumpster diver or trash goblin.
And everyone is entitled to their opinion. I’m just a fan of design and some things have a form factor that is pleasing in proportions and visual elements. When those get changed something just feels off…not to everyone, but we all have felt how 1mm difference in width, thickness, lug length can make or break a watch for some of us.
