One of these is rapidly getting to the top of my list, however thanks to @stockae92 I now need to add the Z-33 to the list and research 👍

Was also in the Minority Report film, although they changed the logo to Bulgari unfortunately. Anyone else spot that?

^ wow quick off the mark there! Thought I was the only one who’s spotted that.

Must have been an interesting product placement conversation with both Omega and Bulgari at time of filming.

How does one go about doing this?
It's puzzling. I always thought it was just an Omega. I never saw the the brand on it.

I’d have no idea. I’m sure that in the case of Bond omega pay for product placement.

But this instance seems almost incidental to the storyline, IIRC we saw it only once so I assume/guess the producers just used it.

If I were Omega I think I’d be pretty miffed to find that someone had effectively bastardised what was clearly my own product. It’s almost as bad as seeing hookey and very bad fakes.

I might be overthinking this though and possibly they didn’t care. Who knows.

To keep us on track: I loved the film and regret selling my gen 2 x-33. This was a while back now and I think I flogged it for about 1k as it was a bit of an unloved model at the time.

Actually, later on in the movie, the Omega X-33 did show up as itself

As I recall, there was some kind of settlement paid to Omega over the transgression.

Hey there,
I was fortunate enough to acquire a tri-fecta of X-33s’.
Each in their own way has an individual appeal. The Gen 1 I find very pleasing to
The eye. The shiny bezel I know is perhaps a non starter with some but I find it
With a black leather strap is a sharp combination. Slightly more dressy than
The less shiny Gen 2. Where I call my Gen 1 a little jewel, the 2 is my more reliable
Droid. The crown issue has been addressed, and the full on Titanium Braclet
Is very comfortable. I find the design of the Second hand is mesmerizing as it clicks along....on both those models. They both keep excellent time and the display is very easy to read. The illumination on both is great with a funky green glow. I see ample photos of Astronaut use on the ISS. Chris Hadfield is a huge fan.
Surprisingly, At first I didn’t really find them all that attractive. I wasn’t really sure about the Circular style read out display. This possibly because my First X-33
Was the Skywalker. The different style of screen seemed to me an easier method to read. I liked the format, the overall look of the face itself. Plus, it was so dang
Comfortable to wear. It’s probably My favourite watch. The current Use of it on the ISS was also a neat thing for me.
They are certainly unique tool watches on the cutting edge of Space Exploration.
Although I doomed to be trapped on Earth and only A LawnChair Astronaut...
My watches can go into Space...And have!
Now, That’s Pretty Neat,

Hey there Again...

Funny enough, my first Speedy is the trusty Moon Watch Pro 1861.
Certainly the feel of the mechanical, is different that the X-33 speediest
But each has its own place in space history and in everyday use.
Although I probably wear my Skywalker more, the Moon Watch always
Makes me smile when I wind and wear it. Each has its charms, as variety
Is a joy in life. Imagine how mundane the world would be if All young Women
Looked the same! So too with wrist watches.

Certainly one of the most favorite pieces in my collection. Simply an awesome watch.

I do lust for the Skywalker as well, though...

Great shot and looks awesome on this burgundy NATO.
Also, love that red jet plane-shaped tip of the chrono hand!!

There is a Skywalker in my local pawnbrokers.. It’s been unsold for well over a year now.. Good deal or not?

This is the cheapest i've seen in a while.

Provided it does come complete with box and papers, sounds like a rather good deal to me.
