Why would you want to sell here? Why not start on eBay? There's a LOT bigger market there and most buyers aren't nearly as picky...
It is like anything.. you must build a reputation.. the expression I believe is "payin' dues"... Good luck and cheers!
Unfortunately, "paying your dues" means "just showing up and expecting stuff to be handed to you" to many people, especially the under-35 crowd. .....but let's not turn this into a Millenial bashing thread. We can start a separate thread for that.
In jazz "payin' dues" has a whole different meaning. If you pretend to have paid your dues you get the
I don't understand why a new member would want to sell a watch anyway. Presumably when you join it's because you're enthusiastic about watches, you want to learn, and if anything you want to buy a watch.( Unless of course you've already been involved in other forums, and have a record).
You know, if you didn't get banned under the name "rolemachine" for being a douche you would be MUCH closer to 200 posts. But you're banned again anyway so maybe your 3rd time will be a charm!
I was previously a bit sceptical about the 200 post rule but recently it has weeded out a few muppets. @ulackfocus I only have a vague idea about the workings of the internet and I don't know how you knew he was previously banned. Goes to show the behind the scenes under-appreciated work the Mods do on here .
Sub-lime is Latin for cutting board or kitchen counter top ... Depending on where you keep your fruit...
Hey [emoji15] I've know that name rolemachine Didnt he say I was a ........................ That's Ok Dennis. I'm sure he didnt mean it. No offence taken . If he really needs 200 posts , why not just deduct them from my account & give it to him[emoji3] . I wouldn't mind at all Sir ! The way I figured , my posts to likes ratio will climb P : L > 2.0 [emoji14]
Gold digger, or something like that. Just one of his offenses. Well, he won't be needing any posts anymore, neither for rolemachine nor Ypsilon.
Well, this must be some sort of a record. He got himself banned twice within 2 weeks time. We're having a great full moon here in Australia tonight. I'll grab a beer and go sit outside watching it.
@meganfox17, your post to likes ratio is perfect, and I've read somewhere here that it's considered a perfect balance. From what I've seen many (not all) people's likes are obtained by posting beautiful expensive vintage chronographs which not everybody has or will have. But not everybody has your wit and youthful energy either, and THAT's priceless. (PS and kudos to the mods team for taking swift action against a sexist bully)
Maybe its because I'm not a 'yoof o' tuday" but it strikes me as amusing and puzzling why this keeps cropping up so often What's even more bemusing is they same guy did the same thing with a diferent user name and expected a different outcome? I'm relatively new here, and have only this week started a thread to sell a couple of items and didn't even bother getting anything transferred, as I'd rather just mingle and become one of the occasional crowd Can one of the genuine n00bs chime in with what is soooooo hard about hanging around and actual interacting about a topic that has some interest to you? Anyone?
