Fratellowatches' article is certainly an update & a small preview of ongoing NASA-NASM-Omega research.
Any idea when Omega watches used an Ed White spacewalk themed advertising for the very first time... 1966 perhaps?

I think the 64 link has mainly come from the close ups of Ed's watch/s having a 64 case with no lug bevels, apparently a 1 year only production, funny how Omega has made the latest 105.003 Ed White incarnation non bevel lugs like the 64?

Really we need exact serial numbers or even better an inside case back picture - cmon NASA sort it out!!
