The Gemini IV mission has always been misinterpreted by Omega 🤔 marketing... it can be subject for a lecture at itself !
I have even seen Gemini XII NASA images being used to illustrate Gemini IV 😗
Anyway, luckily for watches used in aviation & spaceflight we write articles in and turn to aviation/aerospace literature, not to watch websites.

Superb edition to the collection, here's my favorite post-flight Gemini IV image of James McDivitt

As soon as Omega became aware of the use of their Speedmaster chronograph 105.003 on a NASA spaceflight mission, they started an advertising campaign. Instead of using the excellent NASA photographs, Omega choose to use artworks depicting the spacewalk. However, these only showed a single Omega Speedmaster strapped over the forearm of Edward White’s Gemini G-4C spacesuit.
The earliest “ Omega Gemini IV “ brochure in our collection is an early 1967 printed in Madrid Spain. It has 16 pages and measures 21 by 14,5 centimeters. Scan of a detail on the cover is shown here…

For this statuette made in 2015, I had the plaque made with text about the Speedmasters 105.003 worn...
Again it took Omega some time to reveal, that the first Speedmaster chronographs used by NASA were in fact 105.003-63 👎

@gemini4 I remember the Gemini 4 50th anniversary well, and I'm still broken hearted.
Here's a picture from outside the Omega Headquarters as I organized thousands of angry Gemini 4 fans and held a candle light vigil to protest Omega not releasing a 50th anniversary watch.
