I consign my items with reputable sellers if I do sell and they don't sell though this forum anyways.
but I totally understand... as one who buys more than sells, being scammed is my biggest fear so i'm glad this forum takes the proper precautions to prevent fraud as best as possible.

Then we have nothing to argue about. Your earlier PCA Speedmaster post did state clearly that you were selling but I have made my point and will let it drop now.

Relative to the Blue Side of the Moon —- am I the only one who thinks that the colored ceramic case simply looks like plastic?

I do like the Dark Side and Gray Side versions, but the blue definitely turns me off. The white version is horrible.

As far as the aventurine is concerned, I’m a fan. It’s gorgeous in the sunlight and becomes more subtle in diffused light. The version in the OP’s post would be my choice.

Nope - you are certainly not the only one!

I agree. Looks good but it's not my taste. The white also looks good but it's not for me for this reason.

The white version shares the plastic appearance with the blue version IMO..

I've never seen one before prior to this, but I can see the appeal. Looks amazing in the photos shared by you guys.

This blue speedy looks even worse than the white IMO. Basically looks like tacky toy.

Each to his own, but those faces are way too busy for me... all those dots/stars, etc. just confuse this old man. Sorry.

I kinda like my aventurine also.

That's an excellent capture of the dial , tempted to break mine out of watch box and attempt the same

I like the Aventurine dial proportion better than the 42mm manual wind with Moonphase.

I was interested when I first heard about it, and mentioned it when shopping at an OB. I just got a call that it is in, if I want to see it. Still trying to decide if I want to drive two hours each way to see it.

In photos yes. In the ‘flesh’ nope. It is a very light sensitive material. The range of blue changes quite a bit depending on the lighting. From almost dayglow in bright sunlight to very dark blue in subdued lighting. I really like it and one of the ones that gets the most compliments I find.

Agree, in person the blue case versions are different than what they look like in pictures. In bright sunlight it is a vivid blue with an almost violet tinge, to a dark blue in subdued light. In the non-aventurine version the white gold hands and indices stand out against the high gloss blue ceramic dial, moondisc, and bezel. Cheap look?, hardly.

I wonder how many of those that think it looks tacky, cheap, plasticy, toy-like or worse have actually physically handled or strapped a BSOTM on their wrist?
