It’s got issues for sure but I can’t tell for certain that the bezel is fake. A horrible repainting job certainly. It looks like somebody tried to “fix” it at home after a couple of cervezas. The watch may be more Franken than fake.

·But Franken with non original pieces is really a fake. Sure . If they do show movements pics that alone would make a difference, but what can be seen is not good.

I also tried to convince myself that the bezel might be original but damaged and badly repainted. However, when I compared it to legit examples, I just couldn't reconcile the shapes of the numbers, especially the hooked "1"s. A Mk IV bezel would be closest, but when I look at it, I just feel it's a fake.
The bidding is over $7,600 now. 🤦
