With all due respect to Alain Delon, if you have to tell us who he is, that disqualifies him from being in the conversation with Steve McQueen, sorry!
I think thats a very American View....
(btw on the pic the woman is Brigitte Bardot, if you havnt noticed, and the other guy is Charles Bronson)

Even as an American I give no cool points for hanging out with Charles Bronson, but I must admit you get lots of cool points for hanging out with Brigitte Bardot.

I’ve never heard of Alain Delon either, but I give him points for riding a BMW boxer.

Or is he just sitting on it, trying to look as cool as Steve McQueen?

He also rode Harley’s 😉

He was a French actor, before that fighting in the French army ( like in Indochina ) and has a similar wild Vita like Steve.
Looks like he is more famous in Europe, maybe even more famous then Steve here.
Here he is an icon ( even as a young German I have to admit this 😉). Unfortunately he passed away a few weeks ago.

Not sure he was „imitating“ Steve, they were active around the same time.

No I can't be arsed....I'm not the one that suggested him.
it would be like me suggesting some local Aussie actor........obscure everywhere else but here, a pointless exercise with a global audience.
A quick qualifying tag line to introduce him would've sufficed. such as: Alian Delon (1960's French actor, soldier etc.) there is no point using someone as an example comparitor, if no one knows who your example is.

It would have taken less time to type 'Alain Delon' in Google than type "And still no one has enlightened me as to who this Alain Delon joker is!"

Clearly you still miss my point, I tell you what why don't you find some more obscure examples that no bastard has ever heard of to generate more traffic for google!

Of course these days a great many younger people would probably ask Steve Mc who? as they are likely to not have seen him on TicTok or whatever rubbish they amuse their short attention spans with

You again underestimate his fame in Europe with 450mio inhabitants. Tbh, I knew a lot of guys in the U.S. knowing him and for me it was strange that you guys haven’t heard of him before.
