I would dibs that one in a sec, i think you did good. You never see them-lucky bastard馃榾
If the watch works and only needs a service, I think you got it at around "market price" (what ever that is...), possibly a bit low. These later, more modern styled Certina divers aren't really that sought after, but their time could well come 馃榾

Thanks, guys!
I love the watch and I think it's a keeper.
I'll send it to be serviced and cleaned next week.

Seeing that I didn't catch that pretty interesting DS Diver that @palkastu found recently (don't forget my dibs! 馃榿 ), I was very happy when @gop76 pointed me in the direction of the model that Palkastu will probably want to "build" of it, the non-diver version 5601 112. This (and nine to eleven other DS') is on my list of must-have DS' that I actively hunt, so I quickly struck a deal with the seller for his rather sorry looking specimen...
I figured that the dial and hands looked relumed so I would relume them again to a more suiting tone... And get the crown replaced while I was at it.
I was in for a bit of a surprise when I opened the parcel it came in today...
It's a until now unknown (to me at least!) gold-plated version! The markers and hands are gold-coloured, matching the case and I believe the lume to be original.
Not what I expected, but interesting and fun nonetheless. Now the search goes on for a better case and a correct crown... And a 5601 112!
Btw, the caseback is unfortunately too polished to make out the serial and reference - sadly.
Does anyone know about this reference? @Bill Sohne? It turns out it is not yellow, but red gold plated... Another first for me. As it is red gold plated with a steel caseback and equipped with a cal. 25-45 the ref will read 5604 XXX; the real mystery is figuring out what the last three digits are.

Best

Maybe @alinghi74 ?
As is the caseback on this one. As it's a cal. 25-45, it would have said "patent pending" there too, before it had been worn/polished off along with the serial.
That's the user name! Couldn't for the life of me remember...
