Great start to the lineup!

This Certina is brilliant, better than the Seamaster300. I'll get back to financial equilibrium and start looking for 113.

Thanks for not being tempted. Also cool that this Certina looked ugly in the photos.

Great to see those two together - separated at birth!

Thanks. These are indeed 1967 watches. However, I am impressed by the quality of the Certina, maybe because I never had one and expected less ?

I still had a 1967 Cadillac DeVille, but sold it at the time of pandemiView attachment 1593648
Now that’s a car! 🥰 If one wants to burn fossil fuel to move oneself and a few tons of metal around, at least do it in style.

Big fan of the classic vintage "Turtleback" DS, here's mine with a very well worn dial.

Another vintage DS I used to own, almost NOS condition. Love how versatile these are, just a shame about lacking quick set for the date.

Hey guys, I'm looking to pick up a Gay Freres bracelet for an early DS. Examples of the bracelet are seen throughout this thread, including one above and one below. One option is to source a bracelet without the end links, and then try to find the end links separately. I don't have a good sense of whether or not that's a realistic approach. Do you think the correct end links (marked 'DS' or 'X') can be found separately in a reasonable amount of time? Or would it be better to just wait to find a full set (bracelet + end links)?

Hope it’s OK to post this here (if it’s not, just tell me and I‘ll delete the post right away)… I thought this could be of interest for one of you crazy Certina nerds, a pretty wild Chronolympic (labeled as prototype on Chrono) has just come on sale here.

In my - not so long - experience, I think you should buy the whole thing, and not try to find end links separately. I was looking for this exact bracelet for a while and i found a lot - with and without endlinks )- but never did i see just the end links.

There a a few bracelet for sale, but that's pretty expensive, around 4/500€ minimum.

good luck with your hunt !
