Wicked cool unusual watch, don't mess with it.
Guess you‘re right. I had this in mind, but probably the seconds index originally wasn‘t orange or red. (The DS dial isn‘t, of course, for this watch. I may be cold-hearted, but I‘m not a monster)

My 1945 Labora. I had this one on a GF Oyster for a while, but when I found this made in Sweden "S LTD" mini-Oyster I felt like it was a better fit. I inherited this one from a fellow collector friend so it's a forever keeper.

Any of y'all bidding against me on this? https://www.ebay.com/itm/174977765320?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=cZ1WEOGkQ2yfigdJeTPpz146cz4%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc
I know this is a Peseux 7001 movement, definitely in the days of decline - but I'm a sucker for this look and the integrated bracelet. Stoked to see what it's like in person. I've never seen this before - guessing late 70s. Comments?
Did you get it?

As I reside in the city of Bristol I thought it fitting I have one of these in my collection. @Spruce alerted me to this awhile back but I didn't pull the trigger initially. A reduction to a double figure price promted me to take a punt. I like it, nice size, feels solid and I like the explorer layout.

Nice case design. Gold furniture with a 3-6-9-12 dial is probably my favorite combination. Gorgeous watch!

Hi!
A couple days ago, this ended on eBay
https://www.ebay.fr/itm/174982499321

I thought it’s bin price was too high but I still find this reference extremely appealing. I cannot seem to find similar ones though, does anyone have one?

Thank-you. When I buy a watch like this I often enjoy thinking of the original buyers criteria. For this one I believe he would have been someone who prized durability and reliability over finish and style. Maybe an engineer or a construction foreman. Either way a very nice watch and proof that this hobby still has something to offer for people with under a £100 budget.

Hi everyone

I picked this Certina up at the weekend. Has anyone come across a certidate/bristol combination before? It’s also on a lovely textured dial that is a bit difficult to capture because of the scratched glass. I’ll get it off to my watch repairer at some point. I’m sure it’s going to clean up really nicely.
Regards
Chris

So another eBay punt. I couldn't resist what I think might be an uncommon gilt dial certidate. Looks to be an original dial but I haven't been able to find many other models which could be a cause for concern. I like the watch though and it runs well.

Hi
Not my watch, found this from an auction at Barneby’s, but I view yours as original. Looks like the condition of the dial might be a bit of an issue though. It’s almost always a problem with black dials regarding degradation. Looks nice and original.

….and another example.

Hi, Thank-you for taking the time to show me these. Yes, they certainly give a bit of validity to mine. Your right, the dial is showing signs of degradation but its still on the right side of patina...at the moment.

I bought a lot with different Omega buckles, and a worn, but original Certina 14mm steel buckle sneaked its way in the bag as well.
Members on the hunt can PM me. I am not interested in revenue, only to make sure it gets into field service.

I have been waiting soooooo long to post this. Last April I was contacted by @JwRosenthal about his Certina for sale. Fellow OF member @Syzygy pointed out to him that I had placed a dibs on the watch, on a posting 10 months earlier, so it was being offered to me first. What awesome gentlemen! I bought without hesitation as it checked several boxes for me.

It arrived late April. I retrieved it from my mailbox as I headed out to my watchmaker to pick up some other watches that were ready. I showed him my new piece. He opened it up and found it in great shape, but wanted to tighten the crown. I made the mistake of leaving it with him! I finally got it back this past weekend. I’m happy that it’s all serviced, but I would have enjoyed it for a few weeks before leaving it with him.

It needs a better strap, but here she is:
