You win 🤔
I’m not so sure - yours has an elegance that my 'robust' DS can’t match.

Thanks- you’re right. Very different watches- you need the bracelet for yours-
Soooo sexy.
Playing with straps- it needs a flat unpadded with heavy taper...but the palette is close.

Both very nice 👍

I look forward to sharing my incomings, if they ever make it across the pond

Ditto, I have a couple nice DS's and parts that need to be stateside ASAP.

Because I need another watch like I need a hole in my head.

I think this needs to be the banner under the OF header on the home page.

It should be tattooed to my hand as I pull out my debit card or sign into PayPal.

And under my eyelids

And written in sharpie over my phone screen....

But still, my watchlist on ebay full.

Latest...very fun summer watch. Running a little fast, but it's my current low budget beater...not bad for $61. 1975.

The strap is terrific - a new one to me, a Eulit Perlon Kristall Blue - tough, cheap, light, airy, elegant, gorgeous weave - not right for every watch, but perfect with this.

Taken with my Nikon D3300 using a vintage Nikkor 55mm f3.5 macro.

I like this one on the original bracelet.

It might just be the angle of the photo and the light, but the end links look different from the ones I have and the bracelet seems a bit off in proportions? Again, it could just be me 😀

I hope it helps. Always hard to get it right.

It's tricky as there are a lot of very similar bracelets, but from those pictures I can tell that the clasp cover is a correct Certina DS part, but the rest are generic bracelet and end links. The fit looks great though.

I remember having seen the clasp cover before (it is different from the ones on my DS'), but cannot remember if it is a late version from a GF bracelet or from a different type all together.

Can you share some pics of original one so I don’t make the same mistake in future?

GF bracelets:

The "bead links" should be polished and rounded as opposed to the more angular, brushed parts of the bracelet.

The end links should have the areas connected to the bead links polished and the other areas brushed. The end links are marked with either an X (early versions), DS (most common) or D S on either side (least common):

The clasp should be marked with the GF logo and a date code:

Note the it is nearly impossible to remove stretch on these, so condition is king. The one in these photos is one of the better ones.

Is the face ‘yellow’ or ‘gold’?

Patinated silver would be my guess.
Thanks, that’s not something I’d thought of.
