SLK 200 about a month ago and really enjoying it . Bought it for some fun motoring and it has the all important vario hard top that's a must for the British weather.

fiat 124 didn’t age well. C7 vert? Really the coupe is great…
The 812 GTS… not exactly a roadster.
F -type coupe I love, the vert? Meh imho.
I prefer the appearance of the C7 coupe as well. They're technically both convertibles.
I think the 124 has aged well. It has a very vintage, classic appearance and it's way better looking than the Miata counterpart in my opinion. Its driving characteristics are much worse though, which is surprising since they're basically the same car.
The F type looks great in both configurations to my eyes.
Not sure what isn't roadster about the Ferrari?
We clearly have different opinions on cars (and even shades of blue)!! I'm just happy that we still have a few different roadster options in 2025.

·So yeah the Z4 that I drove a few times was my father in laws, he's also coming in at about 6'4".
He he had a non-M coupe. Currently daily drives an Emira that I don't think he is too terribly thrilled with lol.
Got rid of his Shelby GT350 for it. But he also crams his ass into all sorts of tiny cars....🤷♂️

But smaller sporty cars are more my thing so opted for Fiat 850 (903) Sport Coupé now that was a load of fun, you could hit roundabouts and super twisty roads at any speed with your foot flat to the floor. For such a diminutive car sitting in the driver's seat was like sitting in a lounge chair with lots of room.

·Many years ago I went on a Fiat binge, most of my mates had 124's and 1500's, didn't like the 124 to much, far preferred the more retro 1500.
But smaller sporty cars are more my thing so opted for Fiat 850 (903) Sport Coupé now that was a load of fun, you could hit roundabouts and super twisty roads at any speed with your foot flat to the floor. ·I had a both a Fiat 1500 and an 850 Sport coupe, I wasn't all that keen on the 1500 (much preferred my Alfa Romeo Gulia 1600) but the 850 was great fun!
Found mine in a wreckers yard with a Seized box and rust in all sorts of undesirable places.
So I found another gearbox/diff did a total engine rebuild, covered the rust holes with butinol and RTV and was good to go for the next several years. Fun times.

·My mum had that 850 Sport Coupe in red as her first car and still talks about how great it was decades later, I still haven't seen one in person yet so there can't be too many survivors left sadly
A couple of mates had the 850 sedans, we had great fun hooning about!
I also had a Fiat X1/9 great fun too!
For those of you unfamiliar with the Fiat 850
Mine was white and cost me the princely sum of $75

·Always wanted an X1/9 but as close as I got was this sales brochure from the dealership in the early 80's at the release of the 1500cc Bertone.

·What you need is the V8 version, a mate of mine has the MG RV8 which is a fore runner to the MGF.
That V8 would've been very light and compact, and would've found it's way into all sorts of conversions, kitcars and specials.
There is a bloke in the UK who has stuffed a Rover V8 into the back of a MGF/TF

Yeah what I should've typed was MG only did 4cly versions of the MGF, My bad! I am well aware of the MGB V8 and The RV8 I've been around MGs all of my life, here are a few pix of our old MG race cars, MGB, MG Midget and the last although a much modified Lotus 11 was powered by a MGA twincam
