So @Archer , when are you ditching your Bimmer for a Porsche? lol
When hell freezes over maybe? Maybe this car will change my mind, but I've never been a fan of the souped up Veedubs...

I still love my M2, which I just had detailed:

He spent over 10 hours on it...

Yeah I don't know...
Laguna Seca Blue is the only memorable BMW blue for me.
Where as Porsche has sooooo many.

On that Model e46 M…. These were production blues.

Laguna Seca Blue was so good Porsche copied it 😉
Topaz
Carbon Black
Mystic Blue
Inter Lagos Blie
night Blue

::edit:: forgot Estoril Blue!

I own a Mystic Blue. Some consider one of the best blues ever.

And I mean I don't blame you one bit. The M2 would have been a clear and easy choice for me had I not been wanting to get away from a 2-door vehicle.

My one and only blue car (so far)...
A Winning Blue RX-8 I owned from approx. Feb 2009-October 2010.
Rays wheels, HKS exhaust, Tein coilovers...
It was a fun car. But tragically under-powered and got the fuel consumption of a big V8 around town, and didn't do too much better on the highway lol.

I got this C43 AMG a few weeks ago. Ditched the run flats for Michelin Sport Pilots.

Bangle wasn't all bad - he gave us the Z4M after all...

Out of all the cars I've owned, this is the one I still wish I had the most.

I actually purchased a 2008 3.0si with 44k miles for FooGirl last year. It’s an auto but a great car.

I doubt anyone will argue that the best looking roadster made after 2000 is hands down the e85 Z4. It’s pure Bangle with the flame surfacing but man it’s a design triumph. People still think it’s brand new, and it’s a 25 year old design now. (It’s better looking than my e46M….)

There is a 2.5 in dark grey over red manual sports package on Bat ending today that I am seriously tempted to get. The 2.5 is a stupid fun engine as you have to keep the revs up in slow right hand turns on green so you always feel like a race car driver, even while going normal speeds. My ex had one years ago and it was stupid fun.

The 3.0si with an auto feels like a touring car lots of power but definitely not the magic of the s54.

You're talking best looking "BMW" roadster, right? I can't argue that, but there are better looking post 2k cars for sure.

That being said, I won't argue that it's a great looking car.

A roadster period. What is a better looking roadster? Not the modern Miata, the Fiat 124 did not age well…. The Ferrari California is bloated looking.

Z3 looks best but Z4 for reliability and just a better handling and driving car.

Ever seen a 4C in person? They look awkwardly proportioned. Look great in pics though.

fiat 124 didn’t age well. C7 vert? Really the coupe is great…

The 812 GTS… not exactly a roadster.

F -type coupe I love, the vert? Meh imho.

Really? I'll be honest, as much as I like the S2K, I've never been in one.
I have, however, driven a Z4 Coupe (non-m) and I can't imagine the S2K being smaller...

Really I fit no problem in a z4, the first gen boxsters and S2000’s are too small for me. I’m 6’4 in freedom units or 193 in sane measurements.
