My daily is a 1994 Ford f150 4x4, 64k original miles. Bought it bone stock last year from a one owner. 4inch BDS lift and 35 inch tires riding on original factory 15 inch rims. Smooth ride that will go anywhere I need to go.

How do you guys who have real nice cars not stress? I just have a Lincoln which I like but it’s been hit twice by idiots and has a bunch of dings from people hitting it with car doors or other crap.
Someone hit my wifes car in a parking lot did 7k in damage and took off. I really do like cars built a 72 chevelle that I regrettable sold. My neighbors friend took my for a ride in his Tesla plaid and holy cow I fell in love.

Maybe I live in the wrong area or something.
Well, the only way to avoid door dings and majority of people hitting your car is to park WAAAAAY in the back by its self, and under a lamp post if you can find one to deter thief's, and also I figure the likelihood of someone not paying attention and crashing into a light pole is a lot less than in the middle of an open lot, where people will haul ass to cross if there are no cars parked in it because they can't be bothered to take an extra 3 seconds to stay in the lines like a civilized person.

If you can't park by yourself, park with friends! Which is next to another enthusiast or an actual friend if you are meeting up with someone. I will park basically a couple inches from my buddies passenger side if we go out somewhere because I know he isn't going anywhere and we mutually appreciate having a lot of extra space on both of our cars drivers side for buffer room.

And lastly, I think, if you have to park in a garage with limited options, park in one of those weird end or corner spots that has those huge extra striped spaces on each side that can't be parked in, or in between pillars and get real close to the pillar so the other drivers have more space to open their door carelessly. Ideally you could find a space between 2 pillars that would totally ensure your safety!

Using these methods, you too can feel your wives eyes roll back in her head as you pass 23 parking spaces to find just the right one, and hear her sigh of enjoyment as you find a better spot just as you reluctantly decided on the first one and zoom over to the better spot! HAHA

Also, have a second car you don't really care about for going to sketchy places and errands you don't want to mess up the nice car with, or hauling the dogs places. I also have this as my daily (Rav4 is the wife's)

I had an S2000, a truly awesome car. Fun as hell but impractical so eventually had to move on.

When it came time to move on I had to do the grown-up thing. Something more usable. You know, hard roof, back seats, all-wheel drive.

And twice the horsepower 😁

If this is what "sensible" looks like, then I don't want to be "unreasonable" any more 😗

German sports cars are totally reasonable.

I use a more thorough and complete reasoning process….. have dedicated sportscars, and the old red Ford Falcon ute does all the workhorse duties!
It looks like crap, but is mechanically spot on, with quite a few modifications to make it both more civilised and work ready.
No need to compromise!

Your Jag is confusing me.

Is that the Merc Jag or the Panther Jag?

Daily driver for 20 years and, with numbers on the side, the Sunday driver too. Still in the garage but my eyes aren't good enough any longer. Which is a bummer.

I dig and drive old Fords…pictured below is my old 2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt GT which is my recreational driver, and my old 2007 Ford Police Interceptor which is my daily driver. I purchased both Fords new in 2001 and 2007 respectively.

Ahh I see it jsut looks like the Jag logo...

It's a Panther Kallista! I was wondering why it looked vaguely like an Allard. Never heard of them, but cool!

The last of the v-8 interceptors purchasable by non-government organizations!
