This seemed like a good memory exercise for me. In order, as well as I can recall:

my parents 1978 pontiac lemans station wagon (seized the engine due to being a stupid kid and not checking the oil)
1982 Nissan Sentra (totaled by a friend)
1989 Acura Integra (totaled by a garbage truck while parked - driver had a heart attack)
1967 Ford Mustang convertible
1999 VW GTI
1980 911 C4
2002 VW GTI
1964 1/2 Mustang covertible
2003 Mazdaspeed miata (totaled by a hit and run driver while parked)
2006(?) Mazdaspeed 6
2000 M roadster
1966 mustang coupe
2014 Mini countryman
2016(?) BMW i3
2012 Tesla Model S
2021 Tesla Model Y (totaled after being rear-ended at a stop sign by an F150 driver who forgot i was in front of him while waiting a long time to turn onto a busy highway)

2011 Ford Explorer XLT (company car - black on black)
2009 BMW 335i coupe (Space grey over red leather)
2013 Porsche Cayenne GTS (midnight blue over black)
1999 Mercedes SL500 (Imperial red over black)
2004 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S (Carrera White over Boxster red)

My dad was a car guy, and he had a habit of buying 10 year old, depreciated interesting cars. It was his one splurge and I definitely got my car bug from him. During my formative years, he had:
- 1989 Acura Legend LS coupe (navy over beige leather)
- 1991 BMW 750il (V12) (Calypso red over white)
- 1998 BMW 540i Sport (Black on black)
- 2001 Mercedes SL55 AMG (silver over black)

My 3 year old son already lights up about cars and loves getting rides in interesting ones.

The exact same thing happened to me with my ‘77 Pontiac Grand Prix wagon: Same young idiot with same seizing of engine from not checking oil. Amazing!

Another one in my stable is this ‘73 E/RSR build. 2.8L, short stroke (66x95), twin plug heads, Mechanical fuel injection, built by Henry S. at Supertech. . I’ve had this one for about 20 years now and have been steadily working on it myself, or having stuff done to it by others. I drive the hell out of it. Beautiful sound track

My daily drivers over the years is a pretty boring chapter.

However, my daughter and I had the pleasure of this 911T from 1971 for eight years.
Good memories from holiday trips to the islands around us.
Oh yes, and Le Mans Classic of cause.

I'm not really into "reality" TV, but my 6 year old found Rust Valley Restorers on Netfilx recently. it's fairly light on the reality aspect of the show, and some of the cars they build are pretty fantastic.

I'm not really into "reality" TV, but my 6 year old found Rust Valley Restorers on Netfilx recently. it's fairly light on the reality aspect of the show, and some of the cars they build are pretty fantastic.

You may also like Roadworthy Rescues.
