White watches which are keepers

Hi everyone,

I just have this dilemma and wanted to run it by a few people though I am sure opinions will vary and i doubt there will be consensus.

I have a large collection and 3 white watches and thinking to sell one or two of these. Frankly i put the snowflake for sale but when an offer came i tested all 3 and found some doubt in me.

Here are the 3 watches:
1) Snowflake SBGA211
2) Omega seamaster 300M
3) Nomos Tangente 38 date

Right now im using the omega the most but its still in honeymoon phase, followed by snowflake and then rarely the nomos. But obviously use will change if i have 1 or 2 white watches.

I know this is a subjective question, which 1 or 2 of these would you rather have?

Here are my photos.

Yep, If I was going to sell one of those, it would be the Nomos. It's a nice watch but out of the three, its the least interesting. If I was going to keep one for ever then it would be the GS.

Same as the others, I’d ditch the Nomos. I admittedly don’t know much about them but the watch itself looks more ‘standard’ - a look you can get from many other brands at a fraction of the price if you decided you needed that look again.

I'll be the contrarian - I would lose the GS personally...

You shouldn't ask me; I'm not a Nomos guy - too plain.

And don't ask me about the GS either - admire what people say about them without having any desire to buy to try.

Similar view to that of others above: The Nomos would be the first I'd let go, GS second. The Omega is a stunner.

Thanks to you all who shared their view. I will summarize it, I'm not pro at making polls option etc...

Omega Semaster 300M White: 8 Votes
Snowflake SBGA211: 7 Votes
Nomos Tangente 38 Datum: 1 Vote

to be honest I was surprised. I thought an omega forum would be heavily biased towards the omega, I did appreciate a lot of respect for the snowflake from the replies.
I sold the Snowflake just now, I hope I won't get remorse and rebuy it; I think I won't and if I go GS again It will be the 44GS and a colourful dark Green or Blue dial. A 3 hander is already slightly too understated for me, then white makes it even more muted I think. The funny thing is the Nomos is surely even more understated but coupled with the Omega it covers a nice sports-Dressy spectrum for now!

Thanks to everyone for your input, much appreciated

Never got to weigh in but I’d have sold the Nomos and the Snowflake.

I once wanted to go for Nomos, ordered it and when tried it on decided not to pull the trigger as it just didnt feel right. It wasnt tangente but still i am also voting for letting this one first. As for 300m vs Snowflake... I think I like the GS better (shocker! 😀)

I guess I liked the previous line of 300m better

I'd have kept the GS for its timeless classic look. The NOMOS reminds me of the dial on a pressure gauge and the Omega is too loud for my taste.

Really? I don’t see that personally. Now if you were talking about one of these, I’d agree, but not the Nomos...

To each their own...buy what speaks to you.

I actually would have kept the Nomos and the Snowflake, and sold the Omega. I love the white dial Diver - it's a great look for that model. But for variety's sake, that would have been my route.

I would sell the Nomos first, GS second, and the Seamster would be the keeper.
