Hi, my grandfather passed away last year and we found this omega.

Not sure how old or model.

    Any ideas?

    How much does it worth?

Looks like an old Cal 320 chronograph, dial looks pretty tatty but that's not abnormal considering they're not sealed in any particularly serious way, probably 1950s or so. Probably 18K solid gold too. I paid $2200 for a better condition solid gold model than that, but they can be restored to original working order.

Not sure exactly what the movement is but the caseback confirms its solid gold

What's the diameter of it, measured from one side to the other excluding the crown?

Guessing it might be a Cal 33.3 which is a bit bigger

Also, does it work? as in keep time correctly, does the chronograph start and stop and reset correctly?

Your watch is powered by an Omega 28SC movement, the dial was refinished at sometime in the past.
