If I absolutely had to pick between those two, I’d go with the Bond edition. Despite my love for Bond, I brushed off that 007 watch when it came out. I’m just not a fan of the gun barrel dial or the other in your face 007 second hands, dials, etc.
I actually saw the two tone Seamaster in the boutique on Thursday. The Sedna gold looks awesome if you haven’t seen it in person. Their suggestion, when I said I liked the look, was to buy that one on rubber and then buy a normal SM300 bracelet. I think he said it was a solid $1-2000 cheaper than buying with the two-tone.
Between those two I like the bond edition although the gun barrel dial looks a little busy to me. I think the two tone model would look much better on a black leather strap or nato instead of that two tone bracelet.
I agree with you, the two tone SM300 looks much better on a black leather strap or rubber.
