Which of these two?

I couldn't buy a watch with a broad arrow that isn't a genuine military watch. Unfortunately NTTD is based on a lie.

Try both of them on at your boutique/AD and compare them side by side. NTTD vs 300mc (Pretty much the same thing as the spectre). Huge difference in how they wear and feel on the wrist. That will help you decide. The difference is so vast that I believe most folks will only enjoy wearing one or the other. Do not make this decision based on looks alone.

I agree you should try to see both models in person and get a feel for the very different case proportions of these two models. I think the slimmer thickness and twisted lugs of the Diver 300m are very refined and aesthetically pleasing in person. I found the Seamaster 300 case to be more chunky in person than in photos. For me it's Diver 300m NTTD, no contest. I also love the fantastic domed sapphire and (faux) military look.

This is not a serious question, is it? Of course the SM300MC, it’s the much more versatile and prettier watch!

Spectre, out of the two. I dislike skeleton hands and am a sucker for lollipops. But that’s just me, you go with your heart.

Out of the two, I would go for the Spectre. I find the new Bond watch, with its broad arrow, excessively aged lume, simply atrocious. The 300M is a modern design and for me it doesn't really work with all the fake vintage stuff added to it. If its your thing, I'm cool with it, but I think Omega tried too hard and that it will age very badly. And just like the new 300M I find it too big.

The Spectre is way more refined and combines a classic look, mild patina with modern elements such as the liquidmetal bezel. It is a chunky watch though due to its thickness (just like most Omegas) so I would suggest you try it on first. Personally I would opt for the regular version with diver bezel and normal sized Omega logo on the dial.

In the end, try both and follow your heart.

Someone always mentions a Speedmaster about now.

But I can't get both. Let's not focus on one being overpriced like many say.

I love the new No time to die SMP. It has grown on me so much and every time I see it in pictures, I want it more.

On the flip side though, i'm also in love with the Speedmaster DSOTM Apollo 8.

Being that not only am I a huge Bond fan, I also love the Space history.

Don't know which to go for.

Definitely the Spectre given its more classical appearance and reference back to the 300. Plus, I prefer the 12-hr bezel over a dive bezel. The NTTD is a fun watch, but rather cartoon-ish. I also have an issue with a faux broad arrow on a non-issued watch; just trying a bit too hard...

I think I have decided on the Spectre. Issue now is, finding one at the right price.

I want to add one of these two Bond watches to the collection. I love both but I can’t afford to get both of them so I’m having a hard time deciding. The price I’m going to pay for each isn’t a deciding factor. The new No Time to Die or hunt down a nice condition and complete set of the Spectre 300?

Hi,

I went with the Spectre 007 - love her when I am diving or swimming … exept these two
actions I go everytime with my Speedies! But still loving the Spectre Seamaster a lot.

Tried on the NTTD after the Boutique gave me a call to tell me it came in. Probably the most comfortable watch I’ve ever tried. Very nice in person but I left it behind. I’m thinking I’m going to get the Spectre then maybe next year get the NTTD since it’s not limited.

Since you asked... the Spectre is a better looking watch IMHO. Ok, why you ask; I don't care for the NTTD bezel and insert- a dodecagon, are you kidding me, I don't like the "fake" patina on the dial, the hands are ugly, I don't care for the case...makes me think Speedmaster and it isn't, and don't get me started on the bulky crown guard, and both straps want to make me heave.
Spectre... now, go buy it.
