The one vintage I would seriously chase is a Sea Dweller 1665l (I don't care if it has red or white lettering) . I tried one on four years ago and it stuck with me. Otherwise I am a modern Rolex person because of the crazy obsessive market for vintage pieces. When I buy a new piece from the AD I know exactly what I am getting. And as it turns out, I could not be happier. So far with Omega its 1950-1970 vintage all the way.

I feel it is so difficult to pick a favourite because there are so many variations across the decades.

Gilt dials are awesome. Big red 24h hands are awesome.Maxi dials are awesome. Red texts are awesome. Lug holes are awesome. Anything non-modern/fat case are awesome. No rehault is awesome.

Thus it has become such a rabbit hole that I've just decided to narrow down and hunt down birth year watches. It made my hunt much more targeted saved me a tonne of money over the years. The only down side is my birth year coincides with the Mk1/2 16520 porcelain and 4 liner daytona which cost a pretty penny.
