It’s tough love mate and it is constructive. Anyhow you really came here to try a back door sales post so put the violin away.
Yeah ok mate. 😂😂

OP first asked about Speedmaster braclets and the forums FS rules a year ago, I had a vague recollection the screen name was familiar.

Correct! Now I’m asking for help (I didn’t even post the eBay link, conscious that I didn’t want to break any forum rules) but just got the keyboard warriors 🤦🏼‍♂️

I think the advice is fair, if a bit blunt in some replies.

Don't advertise it for something it isn't.
Update your sales post on eBay to reflect that it's an Omega bracelet "XXX-XXXX".
If you're not sure what the bracelet actually fits to (what reference), just leave the buyers to make the decision.

That’s what I’m planning to do now I know it’s from a Broad Arrow. But I can’t update it until the offers expire in 3 days (before any other mud gets slung)

I’m grateful for the advice, I just didn’t appreciate the judgement and false narrative. That’s the internet I guess.

It sounds like the misunderstanding comes from the mislabeled bracelet, I definitely get why you'd be frustrated with the response if you bought it second hand from chrono24 and didn't realize it wasn't the right p/n for a 1861. Pretty important to include part numbers- but lesson learned.

Please do post those pictures tomorrow, I'm curious to see how it fits. Good luck!
Pics (because I do actually want to prove I’m not “slippery”) not your words I know but for anyone else that reads this……

First is what’s on it now and then the other strap which I’ve misidentified. It does fit and the pins are actually the same size as the current pins.

One more tip, GBP conversion to euro does not help ( + 10% ) and neither does the 21% import charges into the euro zone, which makes it close to € 600,- .

Thank you. I’ve lowered the price but once I can update the listing and work out if that’s a fair price or not? But thanks!

You can end the listing and start a new one immediately. I don't think it costs you anything. In fact, I'd recommend it since your initial listing was misleading.

The end links look to extend well beyond the lugs. There can be a difference between "it fits" and "it fits properly."

I'd be upset if this was the fit I got thinking it would be proper when I made the purchase. And even if you marked the listing as no returns eBay would allow a return at your cost under these circumstances.

You should be able to take it down and relist it? It's actually quite possible that including the specific bracelet part number will help you sell it.

Thanks for the pictures. It's good to know how this bracelet fits the 3861, but unfortunately that extension past the lugs would bother me.

I bet if you price this a bit more appropriately and list which reference it fits, it'll sell though. Ironically the limited ref it is for my help more than you'd initially think, because I rather doubt fake bracelets for the older 57s are common.

Thanks all for being helpful. I’ll be redoing the listing later on with the correct part number etc and make it more competitive! 😬

I wouldn't call it 'fits' based on those pictures...

That said, I see it sold, I hope your buyer is aware of the problem, at least for your sake.

He’s aware, I messaged him with the pics and explaining what I’d learned on here. But thanks.
