Ditto for Chitown if you want brand new--it's grey market but there's still the warranty, and the seller is very nice and prompt. Got my FOIS there, no regrets. Jomashop you're stuck with their warranty and not the Omega warranty, so it's iffy.

This. I have heard of people having bad experiences with jomashop and it's always about the warranty. People who never have to warrenty their watches tend do have positive experiences with Jonas and people who do tend to have bad ones.

That being said I personally bought my new in box speedy pro off jomashop and have had no issues and I saved a bucket of money .

True, but the savings difference between Jomashop and places like Chitown is so small that for me the extra piece of mind was worth it (was a $55 difference between the two).

I bought mine from CaliberSwiss last year. Very easy to deal with and a decent price. I got an additional discount by paying with cash. CaliberSwiss is like Chitown, it's a grey market price with the warranty. I received the entire package including warranty and pictogram cards.
Good luck in your search, you'll really like the Speedy!
Second for CaliberSwiss. We did a Face to Face deal about a year ago. Couldn’t have been easier and price was completely competitive with the best prices I found elsewhere for new.

I may get some hate for this but IMO, it depends on how old you are. If you are a young guy, I say buying a new current model is not a bad move. I say this since the basic design and function of Speedy Pro has not changed over the decades and most probably will remain so in the foreseeable future. Then as you age, your watch ages with you and that bond is priceless. I bought my Speedy Pro in my 20s and I thoroughly enjoyed getting old with my speedy over the years. IMO, with Speedy Pro, new or vintage, you can't go wrong.

I completely agree with this, vintage is great once you've had a few pieces, however the aging process of buying new and creating your own dings, knocks and patina is underrated!
