No watch, no matter how valuable or irreplacable, is worth your life if a criminal gets the drop on you

Except a CK-2915-1. If all original.

I just have a watch case. Figure if someone really wants the contents of a safe, they'll find a way.

My favorite thing I've read on omega forums is to just have most of your watches covered by home insurance or similar. Had a watch stolen from my bag during a flight, visa flight insurance covered it but it wasn't very expensive (less than $500)

but not against robbery... will you open the safe if somebody aims a gun on you or will you be very brave?
Yeah I thought of this and worried about it. I have a cheap safe in relatively open view in a "walk in" wardrobe. In the corner under a load of crap is a real 100 kg safe bolted to the concete floor.
May work ?

Will work in most cases. Because everything they can't grab in 5 to 10 Minutes is to risky.

Just a plain old watch box for me, I would have to significantly up my watch collection in terms of value to require a safe of sorts.

Cheap Amazon watch case. But in a huge Liberty gun safe that's just a bit too big to carry away. In fact, it's bigger that the door to the room that it's in.

the usual box for the wrist watches...

the nice thing about pocket watches is that you can hang 'em up!
