Being Egyptian, I'm going to skip the pictures of the pyramids and the sphinx, and introduce you to my home town, Alexandria, the second largest city and once, the capital of Egypt during Pharaonic times.

A lively Mediterranean city, usually referred to in Egypt as "The Mermaid of the Mediterranean"

A blend of the ancient, the old and the new

With awesome historical diving sites

Nostalgic Mediterranean architecture

History brought back to life (The New Library of Alexandria)

Standard sea life and culture

Basic middle eastern traffic (picture taken on a good day, that is!)

And of course, supposedly being the people who created beer first, our own very popular Stella Beer for those who drink! 🍺
😁

That's not beer - it's hops & barley flavored lemonade. 😜

Beware, the curse of the pharaohs! 😜

I'm in a little burg, between Dallas and Ft. Worth in the great state of Texas.

No pictures, but I can see Cowboy Stadium from my front door.
