We seem to have had a fantastic influx of members, thanks to Dennis, and of course Ashley and Trev for making this forum so addictive.
The great thing about this watch forum is not only the friendliness but also the diversity of its members from all four corners of the world. So I thought it would be a good idea to see where you all actually come from ?
    so i'll kick it off.
I live in the UK in a small town in the county of Staffordshire on the edge of a forest called Cannock Chase.
This is where I spend a lot of time mountain biking and walking the hound....

I'm in a small town just west of the city of Charlotte NC, US. We are between the Mtns and the beach, so we have the best of both worlds not too far away.

I'm at the base of Mount Coot-tha in Brisbane in tropical Queensland, sunny one day, half under bloody water the next.

It was actually pretty funny, I learned to swim there, but the guys had like a cafe in it with sweets and chips and ice creams, so they had like 4 kayaks that they were going back and forth in, transporting the food and kitchen supplies, while two of the staff just swimmed it pushing plastic boxes, meanwhile the old lady that runs the place appears on the top balcony with an industrial fridge on a trolley. There are like 400 people standing around watching the flood waters come in, and this woman's having a screaming match with her staff in the Kayaks, "Make a raft and you can carry the fridge" and they're shouting "We can't carry the damn fridge on a single person Kayak"

"I'm saving this $%@%ing FRIDGE, I PAID $5,000 for this BASTARD"

"We can't carry the damn fridge Carol, we're paddling through 2 meter deep sewerage in plastic kayaks"

    Was bloody hilarious.

I am from New England in a little town called Boston in Massachusetts. There are plenty of high-end watch AD's and splendid restaurants to dine at.

I had three dogs and a hedgehog but now I have only one dog. Her name is Nala.

Part of my heritage is English. And Aston Martin is my favorite car. Unfortunately, this DB9 is not mine...except for a few hours that day. I wore my 2254 on a Real Bond RAF strap that day.

I'm originally from Philadelphia PA - where a Rouchefoucauld, the thinnest water-resistant watch in the world, is only worth fifty bucks.

Now I live in Runnemede, a nice suburb with decent neighbors.

.... except for that one guy who dresses in a black suit and is trying to control our brainwaves. We had to start taking precautionary measures.

Born in Winnipeg (AKA Winterpeg), Canada. I'd hated the cold weather and city since I was very young.

In 2004 I moved to the Gold Coast, Australia. I can't think of a better place in the world to have as a home-base.
