That's gorgeous! I can agree with that being a grail.

Right now, my grail watch is this:

I went to 14 Omega ADs in the Midwestern US when they were announced and they all told me to move on or go test my luck on the grey market.
I would suggest you to wait for some time, 6969 is not a small number. You may get a good price in secondary market if not from AD after initial euphoria is settled.

Thanks, @Pun. I’m watching them on eBay and Chrono24 for now and the secondary market prices are more than I’m willing to pay above RRP. I hope that the euphoria does die down some in the future because the treatment I received from a couple of Omega boutiques really gave me a sour taste in my mouth.

Let’s imagine we’re all sat around a table playing poker with our watches instead of cards. That Speedmaster would be the equivalent of an all-spades royal flush and then some. In fact it would probably beat it.
You could win every World Series of poker with that on hand. Damn to just hold it for five minutes would bring me years worth of joy.

Did you set that up or were you doing yard work and someone snapped a perfect picture. Either way it is way cool.

If I sold all my watches, I could afford half of an Autavia GMT or a Tudor Snowflake Sub in not-so-great condition:

More realistically, I could see myself owning a Rolex Explorer I one day or maybe a modern Rolex Sub. I know it's not a very inventive answer, but I'd feel a bit accomplished if I could afford one of those someday.

Holy calves, Batman. All that skating DOES pay off. Should’ve told my mom that.

Always this....

Of course I've no hope of ever picking up an original prototype, but I'm still hoping RJB and Omega release this one(with as least changes as possible) as a Speedy Tuesday at some point. After that, I'm done.

2020? @Robert-Jan 😉

I'm still searching for the Hooters link... although those two gaps in the trees above the fence on the left hand side of the pic look interesting...
