What is your dream/grail watch?

This has been mine for years. When I earn enough poker money I'm going to pull the trigger. I also have a bout 50 watches and wear about 10, so it's time to thin the collection.

This is mine- the Omega SMP300 212.30.36.20.01.001 Looks stunning in blue, but I prefer the black dial and black bezel variant.

I don't think there is one grail watch, there are too many beauties in the world. It just can't end (and it's getting worse every time you buy one) 😀

Vacheron Constantin Historiques American 1921.

Never going to happen, unless I win big on the lottery.

That said, I suppose I'd settle for a JLC Reverso Grande GMT

I hate having grail watches!

It started out with one (some) of these Genèves …

Then one (some) of these Seamasters ….

I couldn’t decide if I wanted a silver dial or a black dial heritage Longines. @janice&fred said I should get both (which I did) ….

Then @wilderbeast hypnotised me into collecting one (or three) of these C cases ….

…… and now I’m actively looking for another Admiral 5 star

… I want to get off this grail roundabout 🙁

I don't have grails, I have a list of watches I'd seriously consider buying once my net worth is over $10m or so 😁

-45th Anniversary Silver Snoopy

- Breguet Reine de Naples

- Chanel J12 X-Ray Electro Caliber 3.1

I just absolutely love the 50 fathoms. Especially the original but they just do it for me. I’m gonna do a seiko mod of a fifty fathoms and call it a day, I’m easy to please

My grail is getting to the state of mind to realize I’ve long since got my grail, and all that comes after actually confuses that truth.

That sums up how I feel pretty well, actually. I’ve been lucky enough to buy my original grails so everything since has just been fluff and I’m happy with what I own. But if I were to strike it filthy rich tomorrow, one of these would probably be pretty high up on my list:

I love my Alaska Project and just bought my second grail, a TinTin!
Foto of the sisters comes as the tintin arrives 😉

A Grail Watch to me is simply an unattainable item and concept that reminds me why the hunt is more fun than the acquisition.

It applies to cars, watches, your primary residence, vacation houses, rental properties- Just fill in then blank.

I don't agree... if there is no watch out there that i desire more than one I can actually afford, then there is no "dream watch" left "out" there... i am glad to have mine in the box and i love it every time i put it on the wrist!

The actual watch that first landed on the moon, I'd like to wear that one whilst I circle earth's orbit.
