Tintin if I will not be out in the field sweating or out in the rain (it has a leather band).

Otherwise mainly a Nivada Chrono reissue that is on a rubber strap, a Sinn UX or a PO.

I interpreted it as the watch(es) I’ll take on my summer holidays - and for some reason I always associate blue watches with summer - so these - one for the pool an one for bar…

I typically like to wear a tropic star in the summer with one of my yema supermen

Neomatik Atlantic. It is extremely versatile for the season, dive or dress up.

Excellent choice, sir! Nomos is a fantastic brand. I don't have one (yet) but my wife owns an Orion and I'm so jealous 😁 Probably best value in the European watch market if you appreciate in-house production.

I sould have been this Casio. Sorry for the bad picture, but you get the idea.
But I wore it one time and missed my Seamaster the whole day. So I just wear the Seamaster as I does the rest of the year, but somtimes I put it on a Citizen rubber strap for that extra toolie, summer look.

I've got a few I rotate between but these two cover most based as summer watch. White dial with great water resistance is always great, but so is a small light supper comfy watch like the G10(of course no good for a swim though).

Not a summer watch per se, but matched with a summer strap.

But once it get‘s too hot and humid I‘ll have to go for watches with a bracelet.

Got my official vintage summer watch back from service! Tissot Seastar PR 516 circa 1966 on a nice mesh bracelet. Cheap as chips but charming nonetheless. Can't go wrong with a black dial & crosshair combo 😎

Something you don't see everyday: lime green tritium indexes.

For a wedding on the sea I switched the leather strap on my panerai to rubber: this will do it when its gonna be wet!

Bracelet change! Nothing says "summer watch" like a rally bracelet.

Wearing this watch made me wonder if I've ventured too far into '70s aesthetics... @JwRosenthal once said that if you are wearing a Tissot PR 516 you "need to listen to Kraftwerk and wear turtlenecks with leather jackets to really pull it off". Luckily I'm a fan of both Kraftwerk and turtlenecks, so I think I'm safe.

Correction
Nothing says "summer watch" like a purple rally bracelet!

Damn this thing looks bonkers, I love it 😁 Now I've for sure ventured too far into '70s aesthetics. No amount of Kraftwerk or turtlenecks can remedy a fashion crime of this magnitude.

Summer is over 🙁 Here's a pic of my summer watch gang.

Tissot PR 516 got the most wrist time, followed by the Candino. I wore Sinn 104 maybe ten times. It's my rugged outdoor watch and sadly I often ended up being enjoying cigars and beer instead of going bike riding or hiking.:whipped: Hopefully I get to do some hiking this fall!

Other than a G-Shock on those hazy, hot, and humid days, these watches from the 1940s got the most wrist time:

All were 31mm for a minimal size on the wrist 😀
