After much consternation and the creation of one thread that went way, way off course, I collated all of the wonderful advice I received from the good people of the OF and yesterday plunked down some cash for a brand new, straight ahead, modern Moonwatch. As I anxiously await its arrival, I'm keeping myself busy by scouring the web for various strap options. There are many threads over the years on the forum that I've found, but none super-recent. So, my question is: which strap makes your Speedy look its best? Please include maker and colour/model, if possible. Come on people... whip out your straps!!!
Holy crap - that is awesome! Do you happen to know how much this strap goes for today? My understanding is that Omega OEM strap prices went up quite a bit at some point. And yes, pun intended.

Bought this Crocodile made by Cassis JP while travelling to Japan. Soft, matte and my personal favorite for the 45th so far. Site is www.cassis-watch.jp. Not sure if can be purchased online though.
There website is tough to navigate, but I think I found the alligator straps section. Does $250 CAD or $175 USD sound about right in terms of price? On my list to buy is a black alligator strap for formal occasions and that's a decent price for a quality strap.
