Hello from faraway Russia! Dear forumers, please help me recognize this watch. I found it in my grandfathers old house and can't find information about model and price.

Hi mate.

This appears to be a Semaster 120 from the nineties, a sort of dressier predesessor to the "Bond" Seamaster 300s.

looks like a nice one, in good condition. Probably 18k gold and steel. Definitely worth getting serviced and wearing! But if you want to seek, just look on EBay for recent sales of Seamaster 120 and see if any gold/steel models have sold recently.

привет!

Seamaster 120. Lovely watch, slim, with good movement. I considered steel one for my daughter while ago but couldn't find one in good condition.

An interesting looking watch. Were these the first Seamasters with skeleton hands?

no. These came out after the Bond Seamaster, which introduced the hands. These were a dressier, thinner version of the Bond Seamaster without a rotating bezel. Basically, it was a precursor to the Aqua Terra line.

Very cool piece, I like it. I think this is would be referred to as neo-vintage.

I am not sure I like the word "vintage" neo or otherwise applied to anything from the 1990s. I think that would make me old. 👎
