What's, in your opinion, the value or this movement?

Hello there,
Below the pictures of an Omega movement in "non working" condition. Can you tell me your opinion about the value of it? Thank you.
I am interested in the restoration, but don't know how to pay for this movement.

It’s worth very little. A few £/$/€ maybe. It’s not in great condition and wasn’t widely used. There are parts missing and if as I suspect the balance spring is damaged or missing it’s not a viable restoration. It looks like it may have already been cannibalised for parts.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what are the missing parts?

I wouldn't want to put a specific number on it, but definitely far, faaaaar from the 300€ asking price of the seller for reasons as above.

If it was for circa 100€? And are parts for this kind of movement easly findable?
I've never worked on an Omega movement, only Tissot.

Why do you want to buy it?

You need the parts?
or
You want it to experiment with?

I would like to restore it for personal use (not selling).

That's why i am asking for a value, because if at the end of the restoration, it would cost more than buying one in good condition, all the process has no-to little sense.

Euro 50 max.
Very clear, thank you!
In the case of a movement (the cal 520) + the dial (to restore as well), would it be still close to that value?

I'd pitch that value as movement alone. Case and dial, hands etc. all layer on top. A good dial is probably worth more than the movement as it stands

I show you here the dial. I know that in this condition it is a "take it as it is or throw it away", but i assume this may justify a 100€ price.

It's a basket case.

But some people spend more than €100 on Scotch, so if you can afford €100 on something that will challenge you and give you a sense of satisfaction if you do manage to get it going, then do it.

If €100 is needed more for rent/food/transport/alimony, then forget it.

Well at least it gives some comfort that the movement is complete.

Of course we are talking about watched and not primary needs.
The key point was: is it worth to work on this movement for that price? Because if buying the movement costs me 100€, some parts cost me 100 (for example) and the case costs me 200€, while with 200€ i would get a good looking working watch with the same movement, it is not a good deal. I like to work on watches as a hobby, not for selling, but i like not totally waste my money on no-sense projects.
Hope to made it understandable.

I wouldn’t pay more than £20 for that dial/movement.

Much better to buy a complete watch that needs a clean and service rather than the money pit this will almost certainly turn out to be.

Swanneck regulation screw, case screws, maybe balance spring, the list goes on. You could spend maybe $500 putting that right.

Shit! I missed that, figured the hairspring was mangled and ignored the other stuff.
