What is in your opinion the market value of this 18k pie-pan Constellation 168.005/6 ? No box no paper, just a gold filled Omega buckle. Clean and nice working movement. I am tempted, but I am afraid of overpaying. Thank you for participating. Mounir
What's the asking price? Have you looked at the sold listings on eBay or here? Photos of the movement? It looks good to me, on the outside, but if the movement is shit, the value would be very different.
+1 on the above the dial looks good the case is very good except for that nick on the front of the bottom right lug - not often you find a gold dog-leg in that condition I'd want to see the movement too -and inner case back I've said this before -I think gold Connies are difficult to value at the minute They don't seem to be moving up in the same way as SS versions -possibly because they were 'quite expensive' (relative I know) in the first place - and perhaps because gold watches aren't as fashionable However, you do see some ridiculous 'asks' on the 'Bay Also depends on where it is - Connies tend to be more expensive in the UK than say the US The asking price would be a useful guide - sometimes it's a case of "hmm -yes I would for that" or "nah - too expensive"
Depends on where you sell it, Asian market tends to pay more for gold, American loves SS. European 50/50.
This watch meets the criteria of a nice gold pie pan. Onyx markers, small hour marker next to date window, small star, original crown, sharp case and nice, clean dial. Does it still have the yellow gasket?
Hi guys, I was more expecting price quotes in € or $. As I said the mvt is very nice and everything is as should. Original crown and yellow gasket @hoipolloi I've done my homework and I am asking your opinion. Private sale face to face here in Belgium. Now let's get to the main question : HOW MUCH WOULD YOU PAY FOR SUCH A PIECE ? Thank you Mounir
Now we are getting somewhere with the most courageous members. Anyway @BartH you're broke, we all know it.
I got my catch phrase for ignoring Dennis' price advice on a Longines and overpaying for it. Never looked back on paying a hundred or 2 too much, but still enjoy the mint dreamwatch. The watch in the OP is worth overpaying a bit for.
