·The message of the paperwork is very sad. Considering the truly affordable and well executed "modern" watches Minerva produced in the 1980's-1990's, we lost a company that was doing good in the name of watchdom.
Some companies make "homages" and others make "inspired" watches, but whenever I see a modern Pythagore or a chrono, I felt like they really were the real thing. They are what I'd expect to find in a 1940's-1960's watch shop, with modern equipment. In their sizing, their design... everything.
Wish they hadn't been bought out...

IIRC, a few old Minerva chronograph movements were used (some might say wasted😉) in a Panerai limited edition release a year or two ago.

·Well day-um! I have been jonesing for a Minerva 13-20 for a long time, and even though I am not much for non-chronographs, that TZ special hurts bad enough to make me want one. Enjoy! 👍
