So, just wait, and order one online, from swatch.com, at a later date.
I think one key question for the appeal of the watch is the « bioceramic » thing. If it’s a solid, scratch resistant material that feels close to «ceramic » without the breakability factor, then it sounds appealing. If it’s just a glorified plastic( then one can see the interest die down, once the initial excitement is over.
no one can create a Speedmaster, but there are many micro brand watches offering quality materials at this price point.
I know most believe that Richemont and Swatch are "comparables" but they really are not.
Richemont has businesses under it that are not connected to making new watches at all, everything from gun makers (Purdey) to various clothing and accessory makers (Dunhill, Shanghai Tang, Mr. Porter, Net-A-Porter, The Outnet, Yoox, Alia, AZ Factory, Chloe, Delvaux, Peter Miller, Serapian), and even other businesses like e-commerce platforms (On Line Flagship Stores), and of course secondary watch sales (Watchfinder).
In contrast almost everything at Swatch group is related to watch production, or supporting watch production.
And, no, I don’t follow the market on Mercedes G Wagons or Hermès Birkin bags. I have no reason to.
I don’t believe any manufacturer curtails production in order to facilitate the “flippers” who profit in the secondary market.
They’re in business to make money for themselves, and companies like Rolex now vet potential buyers to check for brand loyalty. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t . . .

Well, that is apparently not happening anymore... and looking at the posted closeups I'm starting to feel that even at 260 euros these are a bit expensive for what they are: not much more than a toy watch (IMO, of course).
Like i wrote before: Losing interest quickly on this launch.
Maybe you're in the wrong place then this is a forum about timepieces which you can wear on your wrist, aka a watch forum.
