Thought this may interest some

Yep, as I said back on page 7, is likely as G10 series...

Posted in a different thread as well. But the wtc swatch store in nyc at 9am.
didn’t even attempt to get in line. The cops and military(that are at the wtc anyway) were there for crowd control.

no one seemed to actually want the watch to own. Sad state of affairs

A lot of people are saying people look like flippers, not interested in the watch, but how can you tell? I wonder if people would say the same about me…

I'm curious to know why many people want to flip to make a few bucks? I can understand a group of friends (young) just wanting to get together for something to do and make a few bucks while doing it. Or is there bigger issues where folks are doing this to make ends meet?

The Casio G2100 craze took what a year to die down? Just recently bought one on their fully stocked website and was surprised to see what they were reselling for back at release.

I'll do the same with these.

It’s a whole thing… a certain part of youth culture… go check out Supreme for reference.

Can we get a few side shots of the case, and where the case back attaches?

The amount of self-serving speculation regarding Omega/Swatch corporate strategy and decision making, attempting to frame this collab within some of your overly rigid safety zones, in this thread, is just too funny. Some of you are very afraid to think outside of your own boxes. I love it. 😁

And also a peek at the lug mounting holes and spring bars (or whatever)?

Looks way more plasticky in real life than press pics. Like a Happy Meal version of the steel version. I think it's good they made it this way.

That actually makes the Neptune colorway look fun; looks a bit boring in the press photos.

Many people have complained about the excessive packaging Omega has used, like the often disliked 'suitcase' for the Speedmaster, and how they would like a simpler box. Well, here you go. Maybe Omega is taking note.

People always want to make a few bucks, but this seems excessive. These people are waiting in line for hours, pushing and shoving their way through a nasty crowd, during a pandemic, for a 1-in-8 chance of reselling for a few hundred dollars. I don't get it.

It's called human nature. Well studied, poorly understood.
