·Auctioneers Cortrie have an enamel dial in their sale on 19th March which they advertise as being for an Omega chronograph, ‘Probably a Ref. 2393’, diameter 34mm (see below). The ref may well be a 2393: adjacent to it I attach an image of an Omega 33.3 Chro, Ref. 2393 sold by Antiquorum in their Geneva sale in November 2015 (it sold for about €6000). The starting price for the Cortrie dial is €2000! Wow.

Meanwhile, auctioneers Henry’s have an Omega chronograph pocket watch in their sale (also on 19th March) which they advertise as being from about 1910. Both dial and movement look nice. The only problem is that the dial is from an 18 ligne watch and the movement is a 19 ligne chronograph. A nice combination - aka Franken?
