I have a few duplicate body parts I could sell or trade. All original and in excellent condition!

Original lume?

I ordered the Speedmaster. I'm thankful there is no Trilogy text on the individual pieces, just the box set. The dial is perfect on these individual Speedmasters.

Looking at the real photos that keep coming out, it's absolutely beautiful. A perfectly sized chronograph for my small wrists. I pray this trend continues for those of us less fortunate to have small wrists. I knew I should have eaten my vegetables when I was a child!

For changes to the watch itself: not seeing it it the flesh. I would probably have to say get rid of the faux lume.

For changes to the experience: this is the first time I've purchased a LE watch. I don't care if I'm the only one who owns the watch or if I'm one of 1,000,000. Requiring a full down payment before I've seen the watch in the flesh just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I thought it was my AD. But, it looks like this is an Omega requirement.

I'm excited, but nervous. I've tried on the CK2998 and it really didn't sit well on my wrist. I'm praying that this will be a good fit. Only time will tell . . .

When was the last overhaul performed?

I wonder if Archer can provide those great pictures of what Oddboy looks like without regular service. You know, those great macro shots. With that finger rubbery thing on.

Let's do the math:

Trilogy sets

557 x $21600 = $12.0M

LE of the other 3

3557 x 3 x $6500 (average) = $69.3M

Total deposits = $82.1M

I'd like to earn the interest on that while we wait for our watches. @ 1% APR for 3 months, that's about $203k of interest.

^ It's actually more because the average is not $6500 but $7050 per Omega's stupid exchange rates. So it would be 3557 * 3 * $7050 = 75.2M, total = 87.2M.

However this is also assuming that every single watch and trilogy set is sold before release, which I personally doubt.

Liquidmetal in the bezel of the of the SM300. That was the major deal breaker for me. As some have said a lollipop second hand with lume. would be nice. And the full price up front sucked too.

Like many others, definitely the "Trilogy" text on the dial killed it for me. I would have orderd the set but went with two singles instead. Hesalite would have ben nice on all three.

Price on the SM300 with exchange rates was $7000 and they wanted 100% deposit without guaranteeing A.) That I'd get a watch, and B.) That I'd get the number I requested. Just a lot of cash outlay for me with no watch for several months. It would have halted any smaller purchases basically for the remainder of the summer.

I would like to add that despite the trio being a let down to most here, OMEGA did perform better than other brands. I like them but they are just not as appealing as other references.

Agreed. Especially Rolex. They made the Sea-Dweller a, well, what my username is.

For the trilogy set price, you may as well hunt down a specific original.

Seems like everyone is looking for a vintage watch...

All mine were already pointed out above (hesalite, manual wind Railmaster, no faux patina), but what about something along the lines of free lifetime strap replacement for those purchasing and retaining the full trilogy set? 😀

Instead of having 557 box set and 3557 available individually, Omega should have produced only 1957 for each style, with the first 557 be part of the matched Trilogy set. This leaves 1400 in each style available individually. This way, there will also be no Trilogy tombstone on the dial.

I feel Omega is too greedy here producing an LE in such large numbers. I'm sticking with my ST, Tintin, and Apollo 11 45th.

I think Omega was wary of going too low with this LE after what happened with the Silver Snoopy, especially given the high demand for these watches. 1400 individual watches would be FAR too low.

So all the people on the waiting list for the Speedy Tuesday LE is not a indication of how popular Omega is nowdays

2012 is not enough 😲
3557 is too many 😲
Tough to be a luxury brand

Golden rule with anything, as @Archer has said many times and I agree.

You like it, buy it. You don't like it don't buy it.
