How are the red accents formed on the Hanhart? is it rubber coating over the chronograph pusher or is it a coating applied to the steel? I guess my question also applies to the mark at 12 o'clock. Thanks and Merry Christmas!!!
I’m not sure about the 12 o’clock mark on the fluted bezel. But, according to Hanhart’s site, they use a ceramic/plastic mixture to manufacture their trademark red pushers.

My best find was a Hamilton 946 in a humble but original pair case

On the WW side, I'd choose this distressed dial '52 automatic

That was offered initially, Jan. 7, 2021. So, no hurry. I’m waiting for him to drop his price by $1.00, then I might consider it!😁

My favourite acquisition this year - solid 14k gold Seamaster with a fantastic two tone dial.

Great year for you indeed. Congrats !

the year is not finished so maybe I could catch up one 145.017 I’m looking for (or my first vintage speedy ;-)

I’ll have to double think about this but here is my top of mind list (being away I’ll add the pictures later on - yes I did clean up my phone of all those watch pictures )
All the watches came from OF members or have been validated here !

Dress watches:
2 seamaster 2846
A polerouter
2 great Eternas from the 40s
A constellation 168017
A Lemania with glossy black dial

Chronos:
A breitling 2110
A FOIS
A Tissot 45500

Diver:
A seiko 6105 8110 (getting the hands lume fixed)

Military:
Waltham A17

Pictures to come … I know I know…

Wish you all a great Xmas

Here is group picture... I think I remember having said 2021 should be a consolidation year... I guess this will be for 2022 😀

or not...
By Jan, I should get the straps to put those lovely watches on my wrist 😀

What a great thread, and some great watches in here so far.

Of the watches that came in, four stuck. The first was a blue 146.017, which I've been looking for for some time. I had a silver-dialed one earlier and, foolishly, sold it thinking it too small. Hard to think of a more charming watch.

Next is a BWC chronograph, powered by the Lemania 1340, hence the central seconds and minute counter. For me, the elegance of the central minute counter having an empty circle to show 5 minute increments on the dial below is just incredible. With a screw down crown, unidirectional bezel, and date register, this thing (imo) is an overlooked go-anywhere-do-anything beast.

Then there's a Aquastar Scubapro. In the past I thought these cases were strange, all bright and polished, but this one was hard to get off the wrist this year.

Finally, this fairly basic Longines Ultra Chron was a pick-up just because it looked great and I'm a sucker for high beat watches. When it arrived I fell for the thing; that wide bezel's excellent, and the incredibly clean dial's stunning.

I was boring this year. Apart from this wonderful Omega (from a forum member), I only picked up a few late 50’s to early 60’s glossy black dialed Oyster Perpetuals.

And my favorite:

Ah, damn it. I was gonna call it quits for 2021. After today, I might have to adjust my list though. 🤦

Huge thanks to @Aludic for his help with the purchase. What could’ve been a simple transaction and hand-over of a watch was instead another kind-spirited and very entertaining OF-member I had the pleasure of meeting and spending an interesting, enlightening and delicious evening with. 😀

Well, I can now safely say I won’t have any more incomings of 2021… although a few are still en route that you’ll see in the new year 😀

I bought a lot and sold a lot this year. Unfortunately my selling did not offset my buying so will have to focus on that a bit in Q1.

I went from one to six chronos in my collection by adding these:

A few more arrowhead Connies:

A few cool Longines:

Some Seamasters:

And couple others I quite like..

2021 was year where I chose to consolidate, with quite a lot of out goings and only relatively few incomings. Here the best of them....

I started the year off with this 18kt 3903 Cioccolatone, which I'm hoping will be a stepping stone on the way to a nice Cosmic 3944 at some point in the not too distant future.

Then came a 18kt RG Deluxe 2700 Constellation and a 14kt Seamaster 2627 with waffle dial.

Next up a late 1940's Longines 30CH 5966, also in 18kt and a nice addition to my chrono collection

I picked up a few black gloss Seamaster's and this Deville with bracelet is amongst the nicest

And finally this 145.022-69 which came with B&P and also the bracelet

Have a great new year everyone!

Lovely! I’d happily call dibs on that Speedy. Should you ever sell it, I’d love to keep it in the Netherlands.
