2021 has been (not over yet, one to arrive in 3 days) very bad for my wallet! Disproportionately more In's than Out's :-(

It has been a Longines year predominantly but here goes my all brands personal list...

- The 2021 trio de tête :
1. My PP Connie, no lume, no date, minimum text, no fuss basically

2. My star-y black PP, polished but bumper and lovely dial

3. My Calendar bumper, just traditionally classy

- The Year of the Longines:
1. The Flagship

2. The Conquest (and my favourite surprise of the year)

3. My growing favourite watch style

- The Other PR

- The Foodie, my Eterna crème brûlée

- The Newcomer, the gift to my Goddaughter (who starts to be more and more interested in the hobby)

Aha! I take it this means you’ll stop regularly messaging me about that black dial 50s Genève after all? 😁

Great piece, I've held that at my local AD and it's absolutely stunning. The size is a tiny bit too small for my liking but then the SeaQ date version is just too big. First world problems I guess. Anyhow, congratulations on the new watch and Happy New Year!!!

Yes, the panorama date SeaQ is beautiful but feels huge on the wrist especially on the bracelet. I really really like the grey dialled two-tone though 🙄

Happy New Year!

Thankfully, my decision is an easy one. An odd curiosity in vintage Omega got me lurking in Q4. Before long I decided to become a member and try participating some more. Dumb luck (or jdubs enabling…) got me connected to a local member and acquired my first Speedy. Just a modern 3861 but a solid do it all reliable easy choice for pretty much every situation. I’m surely looking forward to making more connections and finding more gems next year. Happy Christmas!

After trying many similar watches, the Sinn 556 is a keeper! Perfect size at 38.5mm, not too tall. I also picked up this titanium Seiko. I love the look of the lume and case finish, but the small dial makes it wear much smaller than its 39mm case. Maybe a titanium Seamaster would fit my wrist better....

This very rare pre-carrera 1955 Heuer 3336 S with Valjoux 22. The model is oversized at 37mm, which was unusual for the 1950s chronographs.
Very nice

Heuer 2444T brings a smile to my face but awaiting a great Carrera to be the best of the year.
