·got it serviced by a random watchmaker. Unfortunately he polished it - now it looks more like RG - except for the crown🫨
This..and is still in the collection
Was on a three week business trip and the battery in my Victorinox Maveric ran out leaving me to rely on my crackberry. Bought this in a boutique. ETA movement and a massive lemon. Still have it because no one wants it. Its not a bad looking piece though. Basically a fashion watch with ETA movement. The GMT Master II quickly followed, long layover in Frankfurt, Wempe, because the MB was unreliable. Things mushroomed from there. JLC/RGM and then Vintage with my 2998-6.
That "Flamberge" style hand is super cool- what's that style called? Can't say I've seen it before
My very first watch was a Timex Indiglo I got for one of my birthdays when I was young. I wore that watch through multiple battery changes until it was battered and water finally got into the case. I bought myself some sort of a cheap blue dial Casio quartz analog and wore that up until the point that ,my wife bought me a Citizen H145 Eco-drive with a navy sunburst dial.
The casio went into my toolbox and survived multiple moves, but I can't locate it now. No idea if I still have it. The citizen I still have and treasure.
