my father's old 65 Longines.....still winds and keeps good time...even the strap (made from France) is original...supple and smells great...

It had a long life, 1937 Tre Tacche

Maybe invoiced slightly later, based on the serial number? Nice with a gilded movement and center seconds.

Yes, you are right 😉. Invoiced End 1940 to Weinstabl/Prague. Not unusual the gap between production and invoice date.

I have one from 1937 with a 5.45 million serial number so that was my clue.
